The current 25 in Five started today at 12:00am. This is my second time participating in this particular readathon. Last time I believe I managed to read/listen to a total of about 28 hours. I’m hoping I can be successful again.
I don’t think I’ll make it though all of the pictured reads, but these are the books I plan to pull from. The #netgalleyreadathon hosted by Jackie Reads Books (@jackiereadsbooks on IG) is also going on all month long. My current netgalley read is The Girl Who Lived, and it’s the first book I spent any time on during the #25infive. I woke up in the middle of the night and spent about 15 minutes reading it before I could fall asleep again.
I’m also currently reading Now You See, which just came out on Tuesday (thank you to Source Books for my free copy). My other new releases that I need to read are Bad Man (thanks to Doubleday for my free copy) and Sister of Mine (thanks to Crooked Lane for my free copy).
I also plan to listen to my current audio books during my commute to work this weekend. I’m listening to A Great Reckoning by Louise Penny and Sleeping Beauties for the #awesomeAFbuddyreads.
At the time I’m writing this, I’ve only read for 60 minutes and listened to 35 minutes of one of my audiobooks. I’m not too worried though, since I’m back on night shift schedule tomorrow, I’ll be up late tonight so that I can sleep better tomorrow during the day. I will be updating my progress on my Instagram story and will post a readathon wrap-up (try saying that ten times fast!) early next week.
